Data we collect
- Contact details you submit via forms: name, email, message content, optional engagement interest and supplier-count notes
- Correspondence you send by email or phone
- Business contact details of client staff involved in an engagement
- Technical logs such as IP address and browser type when essential for security (and analytics cookies if you accept them — see our cookies page)
Engagement files may contain supplier names and operational data. We treat those as confidential business records under the engagement letter. Avoid sending unnecessary personal data of individuals in exports.
Purposes
We use personal data to respond to inquiries, scope and deliver procurement analytics and supplier performance reporting engagements, issue invoices, improve site security, and meet legal obligations.
Legal basis
Where the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) of Hong Kong applies, we process data as needed to take steps at your request before a contract, to perform a contract, to pursue legitimate interests in operating our practice, or with your consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies).
Retention
- Inquiry forms and unsuccessful leads: up to 24 months after last contact
- Engagement records and invoices: typically 7 years for accounting and dispute purposes
- Cookie identifiers: as described in the cookies table
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with IT or accounting providers under confidentiality terms, or with authorities when required by law. Client operational files are not used for marketing.
International transfers
Our primary operations are in Hong Kong. If a processor stores data outside Hong Kong, we take steps appropriate under PDPO guidance, including contractual safeguards where practicable.
Your rights
Subject to PDPO, you may request access to and correction of personal data we hold about you. You may also ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing (we do not currently run bulk marketing lists from this site). Contact info@panel-nestcore.click with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
Children
Our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
